Artur Skorek – adiunkt w Instytucie Bliskiego i Dalekiego Wschodu UJ, sekretarz wykonawczy European Association of Israel Studies, internacjolog, badacz współczesnego Izraela. Doktor w zakresie nauk o polityce, absolwent stosunków międzynarodowych i religioznawstwa na UJ. Stypendysta The European Institute for Jewish Studies in Sweden „Paideia”, członek European International Studies Association, Polskiego Towarzystwa Studiów Żydowskich i Polskiego Towarzystwa Studiów Międzynarodowych, były redaktor czasopisma „Gentes et Nationes”. Jego zainteresowania badawcze skupiają się na systemie politycznym Izraela, relacji między polityką i religią oraz stosunkach międzynarodowych i bezpieczeństwie na Bliskim Wschodzie. Artur Skorek – assistant professor at the Institute of the Middle and Far East, Jagiellonian University in Krakow (UJ), executive secretary of the European Association of Israel Studies, a political scientist specializing in Israel and international relations. He holds PhD in international relations and M.A. in international relations and religion studies from UJ. His research spans the areas of a political system in Israel, religion in the international relations and foreign policies; security in the Middle East. He is an author of two books on Israeli political system (in Polish: ‘Jewish Religious Parties’, Nomos 2015; co-authored ‘Israeli Democracy’, PWN 2018) and over 20 academic papers (selected works: https://www.researchgate.net/profile/Artur_Skorek). He was a member of the School of Administration in Bielsko-Biala’s Senate and an editor of academic journal “Gentes& Nationes”.
