Global Dilemmas of Security and Development in the Middle East
Globalne dylematy dotyczące bezpieczeństwa i rozwoju na Bliskim Wschodzie
Problemy bezpieczeństwa międzynarodowego oraz rozwoju gospodarczo‐społecznego przenikają się na tyle mocno, iż współczesna nauka nie może rozpatrywać ich osobno. Konieczne jest spojrzenie interdyscyplinarne, z uwzględnieniem dorobku wielu dziedzin nauki: nauki o stosunkach międzynarodowych, politologii, ekonomii, socjologii czy demografii.
Celem konferencji jest ukazanie aktualnego stanu badań nad bezpieczeństwem i rozwojem w regionie Bliskiego Wschodu, ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem analiz związanych z bezpieczeństwem energetycznym, kwestiami ekologicznymi, międzynarodowymi stosunkami politycznymi oraz problemami społeczno‐ekonomicznymi. Szczególnie bezpieczeństwo energetyczne ma wielkie znaczenie dla kształtowania się nowego ładu światowego oraz konstruowania polityki zagranicznej państw, tak na Bliskim Wschodzie, jak i wobec krajów tego regionu.
